For those who love hand made lace.

Albums: Pulled thread work
So many of these stitches are most easily worked from right to left, if you are right handed. when I was learning this I often found myself trying to stitch in the same direction as writing -- left ot right. But that just doesn't work with a needle. Both 3 sided and 4 sided stitch are best worked right to left if you are right handed (or the opposite if you are left handed. Your examples look good.
I am working on learning knot stitches now, Palestrina, coral, etc. They seem so simple in the diagrams but I'm finding it hard to internalize them, possible because of having trouble with left and right. I've used 3-sided and 4-sided stitch as an outline before as seen in these examples done in green:
Have you tried any of the other outline stitches?
There are about 20 and I'm beginning to run out of room. They are separated by space, and divided off by lines of heavy chain stitch. Next one I'll probably abut them as you did on your sampler. Definitely it's going to take more than one.
Looks good. How many stitches do you intend to put on this sampler? Of course, there is also sampler #2, and sampler #3, and ........
