I really enjoy pulled thread, and I don't understand why so few practice it. There are so many ways to use it or set up a piece.

Oh, yes. I'm trying to learn all the ones on your pages plus I have 3 or 4 books, and there are a few more books out there (not really a whole lot compared to the libraries available for some other forms of lacemaking, and as far as I know, no thread company pamphlets at all). It is the offsets that make that interesting cross. There are so many possible variations. When I started my white sampler I intended 5x 20 stitches. But when I acquired some more books, the list of stitches just multiplied. Inventive people coming up with new combinations. Nothing humans do is ever finished. There is always one more variation, one more odd combination, that somebody thinks up.
