Belgian Rosaline lace samples in large thread by Maria Provencher

The bottom two were made in the 1990's in a class with Vera Cockuyt. The top two are my designs with the Angel made in size 80 cotton still much heavier than the original lace but making it easier to see the techniques

Wow. Too few people have tried this form. Working it in a somewhat larger scale makes more sense, especially if it induces more people to try it. Beautiful work.
