For those who love hand made lace.
I've been looking for a project bag for my lacemaking, so I can carry it with me on long trips, to lace guild meetings, etc. My original thought was to have a separate, custom bag for each type (Hardanger, tatting, Lefkaritiko, needlelace, bobbin lace). However, I found this bag and REALLY like it. It will enable me to carry all of my lace projects except bobbin lace (I have another plan for that, but with the same fabric). I have all of the fabric and supplies (separating zipper is on its way), and I've started cutting out the pieces. I hope you like it:
The designer is Natalie Patton (aka Quiltessa), and she sells the pattern and instruction booklet on Etsy. I will make it without the ironing pad, of course. I may also modify some of the smaller pockets.
