For those who love hand made lace.
Includes 18th and 19th century Brussels lace. Duchesse bobbin lace is a 19th century derivation of older and more complex Brussels laces. Some Duchesse (often called Brussels Duchesse) contains insets of point de gaze needle lace. Rosaline is an offshoot of Duchesse, and uses winkiepin edge, and often has needlemade rings appliqued to flower centers.
