Have any of you found a good way to keep balls of thread (pearl cotton, cordonnet, tatting thread, etc.) clean, dry, and tangle-free while traveling, taking them to Lace Days, etc.? I'm thinking of something that's see-through, like vinyl, in a cylinder or gusseted pouch. All the vinyl pouches I've found so far are flat, and gusseted ziplock bags are too big.

No, but I sure would like to know. I have my balls of thread in a plastic bag and they unroll and tangle - I carry them back and forth to my mom's house almost every day and it's annoying.
