I tried "pulled thread" and got "drawn thread" (of course). No "pulled fabric" or "drawn fabric" either.

No "Dresden lace." No "deflected thread embroidery" (!what a name).

No "Ayrshire work" or "lace" or "embroidery." Just "sewed muslin," which is different.

"Embroidered lace" talks about embroidery on various net materials.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitework_embroidery includes drawn thread and cutwork, but not pulled thread.

It appears not to be there. This calls for action.

Wikipedia relies on the public to post information. Pulled thread embroidery is a very rare form, as far as I can tell. There used to be a social network called stitchinfingers.ning.com   But it died. I pushed to create some excitement about pulled thread there, and a few took it up. But that site went down, and all the marvelous photos collected there are gone too.

I've been trying to encourage people to improve the lace pages. Some are just stubs, some are completely missing, and some need more sources and images.

There's a lot of opportunity for improvement.

I am happy to help. I created the Ipswich lace page during the pandemic, so I learned how to create one from scratch. Or I'm open to edits on existing pages.

The other secret is that there are sometimes a lot of great images in the Wikimedia that need to just be put on the right pages. So some identification there would be useful too.

Hit me up.
