Tell us more about your lace interests.
I am just beginning as of Jan 2017. I have picked up quite a bit since I started and it seems that I have an aptitude for making lace. It seems very intuitive for me and I find picking up new techniques or stitches to be quite easy (Usually!). Sometimes I get a bit confused on more complex techniques like Joining more than two pairs when doing brides.
However, making lace for me is like entering into a world of peace and tranquility. I feel so fulfilled and I have a sense of Joy and Happiness when I am weaving and pinning. All of my troubles fall away!
I Love lace that displays geometries that are a little on the psychedelic side of things, like mandalas and concentric circle designs.
I am just beginning to create my own designs. I create my own prickings on the computer using Illustrator. I am able to create custom grids (graph paper) that will produce the desired tension for the thread and design I am using.
I LOVE THIS HOBBIE! (Obsession is closer to the truth)
Give us titles of lace books or articles you have written, that you want us to know about.
None Yet, but I will write a book & author a video as soon as I have reached a level of mastery.
