Hi Karla,

I am new to this site as well. But if you were asking me if you could take the pillow to Malta well I don't know. In Malta when they use extremely extremely big pillows. They are made of logs and they are very heavy!!! I would suggest if it is small enough to take it with you. It is mostly older women who are the lacemakers. I am not sure even if you can buy them there. But I do know they look like a log. That is the best way to explain it to you. It is covered with a muslin cloth with millions of bobbins all over them. They throw them so fast that you can't even see what they are making but I can tell you one thing they are beautiful!!!  I don't think I helped you much. But I think I would take yours with you.

Karla

Welcome.  We finally got it to work!  Please read the NOTES.  Policies are pretty much the same as for needlelacetalk, except that this network includes all handmade lace.  Join any groups that interest you.  Post some photos of your point ground when you have some to show.  Let me know if you have questions.
