The exchange among each other and personal contact has been almost non-existent. Nevertheless, we have not given up and have published two "Klöppeln mit Juliane" booklets in small numbers. There are still a few copies left of the first booklet in 2020. If you are interested in these or in older booklets or would like to exchange ideas with me, please contact me at info@erzgebirgische-kloeppelspitze.de. I look forward to seeing you!

Last spring the class with Pierre Fouche was moved online. It was very good and the class has continued to share their work. In July the IOLI convention became "UnCon", an unconventional convention, when it moved online. The lectures were very popular. I've been helping with a committee that has been arranging monthly Lace Lectures. The next one is Sunday. “Empress Maria Theresa’s Lace Dress: A Historical Puzzle” I also took a class with Veronika Irvine on groundforge which is an online tool that will draw lace diagrams. I need to find more time to play with groundforge and really learn how to use it. Currently we're busy preparing for UnCon 2.0 in July. Last year they managed to have beginner classes. This year there will be a full offering of classes. The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale, California has been working with many teachers and students during the past year and are organizing the classes for UnCon. I'm hoping that OIDFA will be able to do an online Congress this year and that the dates will not overlap with UnCon 2.0 or with the Doily Free Zone. I'd like to do Doily Free Zone too if the schedule permits. Having online classes and meetings this year have enabled us to attend distant meetings. Once a month I get to see lace friends in New Jersey. At the local embroiderers' meeting I get to see a friend who moved to South Carolina many years ago and sometimes friends who moved to Virginia and Florida.
I love your Ning page. It has been a long time since I met you at OIDFA. Are you teaching or do you stay busy publishing your magazine?
