Have taught lace making for over 30 years. I make a variety of bobbin, needle and crochet lace. My favourite is Milanese, but there are really no laces I dislike (except I am not so keen on some of the rather messy-looking ultra-modern offerings) Mixing different colours/threads/materials is interesting and enjoyable, but I like the outcome to be something recogniseble. At present I am working on a intricate dragon-face picture for my son in free lace using a line-drawing from the 'Big book of Dragons'
Give us titles of lace books or articles you have written, that you want us to know about.
A couple of lace/travel articles in lace magazines and a pattern of a Australian Frilled Neck Lizard (made the frot of "The Lacemaker") in Milanese. Also, book reviews in "Lace", the magazine of the Lace Guild (UK)
