"I had a wonderful time with Annick over the weekend. As usual all the lacemakers were very friendly and helpful. I found out how to use support pins to avoid holes when taking in and out, although I probably won't use them every time as I…"
"Kitty's advice about taking notes is very good. I once took a class, didn't take notes. When I got home other things got in the way and I couldn't get back to my convention piece until about 2 weeks later. I couldn't remember…"

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, and how the software works. Join any groups that interest you. We do have a groups for all the continental straight laces, called BINCHE FLANDERS MECHLIN etc. On its opening page is a link to a very long book list, compiled by our members, for books about these laces. I think the Corbett book is the only one currently in print, although the Niven book still has some copies of the original printing available online. Look under the group icon, about 1/3 down the page, for RESOURCES, and for GOOD BOOKS under that.
