I make bobbin lace 6 years.
I Tat only a very thin thread.
Before, I was decorated with lace pillows and cushions, sewed lace for blouses.
Now I like to make jewelry. I tat in a circle turn on the beads, and then pull together the edge of lace with the thread the beads.
Give us titles of lace books or articles you have written, that you want us to know about.
Your asked about dropping stitches on a round grid. I found your question on GitHub and in the discussions on software and grids. Did I understand you correctly in this answer? In short: print a straight patch with stitches and use it as working diagram (= cheat sheet). Put a round grid as pricking on your pillow. Perhaps put markings on the pricking that match the working diagram.
Again I made improvements. You should hardly need the help page any more. Just play with the form and see what happens.
