Thanks for the friend request.  With it being summer right now it will be several months before I have a chance to play with any bobbin lace, but happy to know I can get help.  I don't have zoom, but I am accustomed to following written instructions so it shouldn't be a problem.

Belinda -- First of all the "friend" thing only works with people who are already members of laceioli.  Is your friend a member?

If she is, go to her profile page.  Wherever you see her name in red, or the little icon that represents her, click on the icon or her name, and that will take you to her page on laceioli.  Then look just under the image that represents her, in the left column.  Click on ADD AS FRIEND.  She will respond by accepting.

If she sent you a "friend request" using the laceioli software, there should be a place on your page, either in the leftmost column under your image, or in the box with your name on it (in the upper right hand corner of your page).  (It has been a while, and I can't remember exactly where that message about the friend request appears.)
