Here’s the tiny hanky square that I made as lesson 1 of Barbara Underwood’s Introducing Traditional Bedfordshire Lace in 20 Lessons. So grateful to get to do this project. I love this book! Made with DMC Tubino purchased from Lacis. Miscellany of other lacemaking supplies from, both, Lacis and Van Scivers.

Looks good. I think you can hide those long threads behind the passives in the footside. I would recommend keeping about 3 cm (2 inches).
