There is a book on Chrysanthemum by Cathleen Belleville. I bought a copy from Holly Van Sciver but have not used it yet.

I have heard that Chrysanthemum lace is regarded as part of Bruges Bloomwork. I am not clear on whether that is widely agreed. The half stitch areas are not a constant width. But that doesn't require extra bobbins. Half stitch expands and contracts very well. I don't know if there are books.
