For those who love hand made lace.
Encouraged by the success I had with the first 3 Le Pompe patterns I did, I selected this as the next to try. Unlike the first 3, however, I had no directions or suggestions on how to proceed. But it looked fairly straightforward - or so I thought. Until I discovered knotted picots, the picots were a mess. And the braid trails were not nearly as wide as the pricking required - so I experimented but eventually had to settle for slender trails. You'll see in the middle when I tried a tally instead of an 8-strand braid, but didn't like how it looked. I also did a few as 4 strand braids, using 2 threads as one.
