On this page post any links to things of general interest, that don't fit into one of the groups.
Here is a video, Russian language, of a gray haired lacemker doing traditional Russian tape lace, with her computer screen up and running while she illustrates different designs. This is for those who think all us old ladies with antequated hobbies are idiots adverse to technology.
This one, same 2 ladies, but photos of portraits of people wearing lace.
Krusheva Кружева I think means "bobbin lace" or just "lace"
a 36 minute video on youtube showing a Russian museum lace collection. At 18 min 48 sec are some tape laces made in real silver thread. I haven't watched the whole thing, but I think it worthwhile.
Some beautiful and very interesting photos in this album. Unusually good modern designs, some antique pieces with good detail photos, many examples of lace used in clothing, with unusual ideas about how to connect lace to clothing, drape it across, design skirts, all sorts of stuff.
These aren't exactly lace. They are crochet sculptures of female forms, in very realistic poses.
Holly Van Sciver has a lot. Google her at Van Sciver Bobbin Lace. Also Laurie Waters has collected links to suppliers, sorted by country (for shipping issues). https://www.pinterest.com/LaceNews/ ; Look about 80% down the page to the S's, for SUPPLIERS. There are several American suppliers, also Canadian ones.

Interesting laces --
A Kortelahti design in process.
Some wonderful Russian lace made into clothing.
a fine way to use and display all those insertions that you like to make:
