Jane, it is too large for me to scan or photo copy here at home. I will take it to a store to see whether they can do it, but I am in the U S. It would, probably, be best if someone in the UK could do it for you. I'll let you know whether I can get it done.

I've been trying to get a copy of that pricking for years.  I understand that the copyright is held by someone who doesn't intend to republish or release it.  Anyone willing to sell/share let me know!

Hi I found my copy of Miss Channer's mat. I paid $15 American for it. The copyright says it was published in 1991 by Ruth Bean Publishers in Bedford England. I have the brown card pricking and a large printed photo of the finished lace with a small 4 paragraph explanation. It says it requires 250 pairs!

Woah! I wouldn't pay that much for any pricking!

Arlene

Thant close up photo of the mat is very good. Is that your photo? Nice and clear.

Gosh, I didn't realise this was such a famous design!  The link to the discussion by the Administrator mentions a pricking going for £30 on ebay.  Lol, that would pay for our christmas tree :)

Hi. I bought the pricking for the Channer mat years ago from Holly Van Sciver. She doesn't seem to have it now, but she might remember the price. Unfortunately I am ill today, but when I feel better I will find my copy and see whether it still has a price tag on it.

There was a finished "Miss Channer's Mat" on display at the 2015 IOLI Convention this past summer, worked by Jo Ann Pruitt.
