For those who love hand made lace.
I'm getting ready to start my needlelace project that I referred to in my thread about converting a logo. The Chesapeake Bay Program graciously gave their permission for me to use their logo for my project.
However, I just moved, and now I can't seem to find my size 20 ecru cordonnet for the outside edge. Can I use four strands of size 40 instead?
Here's my design (12" x 2"):
I will be doing this in color. What's the best path for doing the outline couching? I'm thinking I'll embroider the seaweed at the end instead of trying to make it as lace sections.
I think I would just use 2 strands of #40. It does not seem large enough to need 4 strands of #40 or 2 strands of #20.
