Maltese bobbin lace is generally considered to be a guipure straight lace,  It often, but not always, uses a braid based (plait based) ground.  It is usually made in cream silk.

Rita: there is a way to let the software answer that question for you.

Look for the gray bar above. Click on MEMBERS.

On the new page that appears, just above where the names start, is a search bar. Don't type anything in. Click on ADVANCED SEARCH.

That takes you to a new page. Click on the down arrow which is just to the right of the COUNTRY slot. On the list that appears, click on MALTA.

Click on SEARCH

The software will give you a list of members who live in Malta.
