For those who love hand made lace.
Just thought I'd ask if anyone has any favorite, creative uses for bits of leftover thread on bobbins after a project is done. :-)

if enough of them are long enough and the thread thick enough I like to make macrame bracelets out of them.
I'm planning to use them for couching gimp/cordonnet threads for my needle lace.
I make bookmarks. Depending on how much thread is left depends on the size of the bookmark or bookmarks. My brother is a teacher so they do not go to waste.
I like doing English paper piecing (quilting) too and use this thread mostly for basting but I would piece with it too if it were the correct color. Usually, it is not though.
Put the stripped thread in a jar or bag,. and use them for stuffing a pin cushion. You need a lot, but you would be surprised at how quickly the bag/jar fills, - if you make a lot of lace!!!!!!
Los sobrantes los en rollo en paleta de paico y lo uso en el bordado a mano o fribolite. No desperdicio ningún hilo.
