If you are not using wire, what would you use to stiffen your lace jewelry? I have tried starch but it just does not hold up well.Continue

Hello all,
Just in case there are any students among you, this is a scholarship opportunity for two workshops; one with Lauran Sundin and the other with Pierre Fouche. They are set to be great workshops!
Please share if you know anyone who would like to apply. You can find more information at: www.textilesupport.net/lace-support

Wow that is just lovely.
Very nice Maribel. Please also post to our PHOTOS section. They the image will be easier to find in the future. Instructions here paragraph 5.

Olga - Here is a torchon bobbin lace bracelet I found on facebook.
Do we have photos of your 2 lace lessons? From the photos we can see what you already know and can design or suggest something you could actually make, at your current skill level.

Good idea, Julia. I suppose the best thing is to buy your jewelry hardware first, to figure out how much space it will take up. And then you can figure out how to start and end so the hardware will help best. Maybe some of us should try this out and post photos so Olga can see the result.
Olga, what kind of jewelry are you most interest in? Pendant, bracelet, earrings, pin?
