Would love to date and ID this lace on a "gown". Cuffs and shawl collar. Lille? Bucks Point?

The pics below show the gown and hopefully good pics of the lace. The lace is not snow white as it shows in the close up!  Thanks for any help.

I think it is a machine lace. The 2nd photo is what makes me think that. So wide a lace, with a relatively boring design that has little variation, is not something that would be made by hand.

But I am not certain. The close up 1st photo is the one we need to be sure. However the edge of the lace is all compacted and not flat, so I cannot see how the threads run. Can you flatten the lace and gently pin it out so the edge with the design is more clear? To diagnose a lace we need to see every thread. Which ones lie on top and which below.

I did wonder if it could be handmade too.  But I'm most of the time wrong, so I thought I'd ask.  The edge from a distance looks like rick rack . It looks to me like a different thread has been added to make the embellishment. I tried pinning but don't think it helps, perhaps though the part above the pins is clearer?

Thought I'd add another couple of shots which show more of the edge.

Well, that does clarify it. I think your lace is a plain machine made net, with a thicker thread embroidered onto the net. Both the little bits scattered in the body and the lumpy bits at the edge. I'm sorry to say that it isn't a good example of that type of lace. Some can be very beautiful. This one is very minimal. Date would be anywhere from the last 2/3 of the 19th century and into the 20th.  The date of the garment would give the most recent possible date, which I think would be the 1920s or 1930s.
