Rolls of pricking film?

Hello everyone!

I am quite new to lacemaking and have been finding good resources online. However, I have hit a bit of a bump when trying to find materials to help me with my work. Specifically, I cannot find a source for bulk pricking film here in the US. I've been Googling for the past weeks almost constantly, trying to find the right combination of words for "transparent matte blue adhesive film". 

Does anyone have a link to a resource for bulk-ish (as in, a yard or more) rolls of pricking film that originate from the US? I've bought some that turned out to be not quite as transparent as I need it to be.

I get clear matte contact paper from the hardware store and use colored paper underneath.  The contact paper is readily available at hardware, art, and office supply stores as well as on line.

I have found sticky plastic film at Walmart, in their closet department. It comes in colorless clear film, sticky on one side. I then use a green kitchen scrubber to get the shine off the surface. It comes in substantial rolls. I don't remember how many feet, but quite a few.

I did this same hunt as well. And I couldn't understand--I have fabulous Google-fu, and cannot figure out why I couldn't get quantities of it too! I still don't understand why.

But like Michele, I gave up and decided to use colored card stock for my printing (I got a good printer and nice toner), and then just use the matte clear contact paper from Michaels craft store, by the roll.

To do a lot of practice pieces, which is most of my work so far, I go through a lot of this. And at first I didn't get the color issue, until I tried to use white thread on white paper. It was a problem.
