Is there a type of hand made bobbin lace called Brussels Point?

I have not heard of "Brussels Point". Quite often lace merchants will make up some name which makes the object sound special. Since Brussels bobbin laces are highly prized, using that word "Brussels" makes the thing sound better. But I am not that knowledgable about tape lace.  I assume your question is about a lace with a machine made tape.

That's about what I thought. A piece of lace at the Museum was labeled Brussels Point Lace.

I was questioning that identification.
