The Lost Art Lacers of North Jersey will be holding their annual lace day and classes, Feb. 7 and 8th at the Harmony Lodge #8 in Newton, New Jersey. February 7th is a public day featuring lace making demonstrations, lace exhibits and the sale of lace making supplies, open 10-4. There will also be a children's class 1:30 - 3:30. Adult classes will be held on February 8th, 9-4. Beginning Bobbin Lace and Beginning Tatting will be offered. Additional classes include Orenburg Lace Knitting in which the skills required for knitting a fine lace shawl will be covered. Tatting:Primrose Necklace/Amulet bag will be taught by frequent Tat-off winner Karey Solomon who promises that students will leave the class wearing the necklace. Popular local teacher, Patricia Morris, will be teaching Bobbin Lace from the Lowlands, Tonder, Flanders, Schneeberger or s'Gravensmoer. Advanced registration is required along with a fee of $35 which includes lunch.
